London Day 2 - Sunday 6/10

We woke up early today and had a quick breakfast before taking the tube to the Tower of London.  When we got there we went to see the British crown jewels, took a tour guided by a Beefeater and walked through the White Tower at the center of the castle and along the walls.  Afterwards we walked along the river and looked at Tower Bridge.   It all took a few hours so we stopped for a quick lunch afterwards before heading back to the tube.

We took the tube down to Charring Cross and walked to Trafalgar Square, through the Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground, down to Wesminster Abbey and past Parliment and Big Ben.

After checking out all of the sites we walked through St. James Park to Buckingham Palace before taking the underground back to Camden.  When we got back Suzanne and I took a walk around Camden to look through some of the shops and markets and grab a delicious snack that could have only been made by a sweet genius.

We were pretty tired from all of the day's walking so we grabbed a quick dinner at a Nando's around the corner and relaxed for the rest of the night.

  1. I miss casually referring to the "tube"... Definitely get a video of the lady saying 'Cockfosters'. What is that snack?
