Paris Day 3 - Saturday 6/16

Today started early but we awakened to croissants and pastries courtesy of my mom before our walk to the MuseƩ d'Orsay. We took in the artwork and furniture for a little over an hour before going to lunch at the museum restaurant.

After lunch we went to get a train to Versailles. It took about a half hour to get there but then we stood in line for another half hour to get tickets. The inside was very fancy but the huge crowds of smelly people took away from it a bit. Once we got outside the sun had come out and it was very enjoyable to walk around for about an hour before going back to the train.

On the train we were entertained by some very pretentious people talking about this time they were in Barcelona and that time they were in Brazil and that time they were in Portugal and which of their masseurs they prefer.

When we got back we grabbed dinner on the street and relaxed for a while in our apartment. Around 9:30 Suz and I went out for a walk to the Pont des Arts and along the Seine for a while then decided to take the train down to the Eiffel Tower to sit on the lawn and watch it sparkle and light up at night. We sat for about a half an hour then took the train back and got crepes before calling it a night.
