This morning we headed out to our free walking tour at 11. Our guide was Australian and seemed like she washed her hair. The tour took us by a ton of sites and gave us the history behind each one. We walked through some nice gardens and saw a kid on a class trip throw up...that was not so nice. The tour took about three and half hours and afterwards we went to the Rodin Museum.
The museum grounds were very picturesque with statues scattered throughout the gardens including The Thinker. We spent about an hour here before walking back to our apartment and grabbing a quick lunch along the way (Suzanne got an amazing hot dog in a baguette with melted cheese on top).
Once we got back Suzanne and I went out to walk around and see the marche d'Aligre (an outdoor market) while my mom went out to dinner with one of her Parisian colleagues and Shannon rested. When Suz and I got to the market it was not there much to our chagrin.
We still had a very nice time walking around and shopping at some different places along the way. Afterwards we went out to dinner at a local brasserie and had a relaxing time.
When we were done eating we strolled around some of the small streets around and up to Notre Dame and down along the Seine. We got baklava at a small place near our apartment and then went back to our apartment to go to bed.
