Amsterdam Day 3

We got up early today and grabbed breakfast and checked out of our hostel. The first place we went was the big "I amsterdam" letters (which I forgot to take a picture of with my phone so my apologies). We were over those pretty quickly and there wasn't much else around so we headed down to the center of the city and walked around for a while. We went to a flea market to look around and managed to lose Eric twice..he was easily distracted by all the shiny trinkets.

We combed the market and couldn't find him. Steve started worrying about human trafficking in Amsterdam. When we finally did fund him and told him how we were looking, he gave us a perfect quote to explain the situation.. "sometimes the mouse moves at the same pace as the snake".
Even though we were checked out of our hostel we headed back there to watch a little bit of the Greece-S. Korea match and then of course the Argentina match.
After Argenitna's glorious victory we headed to the train station and caught our train to Prague. I was very not happy about the train at first because it is a 14 hr ride and we were all split up 2-2-3. Turns out Ryan and I had a "hogwarts express" type room to ourselves and so did Bran and Steve. At least for a little bit until we picked more people up.

All in all I loved Amsterdam, it was a really cool city and everyone seemed very nice. The bikers were a bit crazy and literally everyone rides a bike (2.2 bikes per person according to our tour guide). I haven't felt unsafe in any city yet (maybe Paris for like 10 minutes) but I've felt the safest here for sure. I will leave you with a picture of a man in a fairy costume from 11am this morning because that's what Amsterdam does.
