We caught our train to Milan and had a 12 minute layover so we were running amazing race style to catch our second train but we caught it with plenty of time. The ride was incredible as we made it towards the Alps and could see snowcapped mountains over the northern Italian countryside.

Each train we took only got better as our last train was along the lakes of pure torquoise around Interlaken. The intense blue/green color of the glacial water almost freaks me out because it looks just so pure.
We got into town and headed down to our hostel. We were planning on going up the Schilthorn to eat dinner at the Piz Gloria but it was overcast so we decided we'll do it tomorrow since it is supposed to be nicer. We rented mountain bikes for 3 hours and rode all around both up the mountains and down to the lakes and had a great time.

Needless to say we will sleep well tonight after that even with the excitement for canyoning in the morning. We came back showered and grabbed some dinner, did some laundry, and watched the Argentine soccer match before calling it a night.
I went canyoning in Austraila. It was a great time and I am sure you guys will have a blast. If you are using a rope make sure you wear gloves as I decided against this and got really bad rope burn.
