London Day 3

Last night we met our roomate that was sleeping in the last bed in out hostel. He was an aspiring hip-hop artist from Johanessburg, South Africa. We got back from the bars pretty late and when he came back to the room we all got to talking. We started talking about social injustice in South Africa and ignorance of people in South Africa and the US. Bottom line we talked for almost 2 hours and it might have been the best conersations I've ever had.

We did end up going to bed eventually and it was do hot in our room. I don't think I've ever been sweatier when I woke up in the morning. I had to rub water from my water bottle on my face an head just to be able to stay in bed.

We went down to Buckingham palace in the morning to see the changing of the guard. We got there early and were in the front row so we had a great view of the march.

After that we went to St. Paul's Cathedral which it turns out is closed on Sunday's for sightseeing but we were still able to go inside and look around and it was pretty incredible.

We also went to Covent Garden and saw a bunch of street performers which were really entertaining and one that was terrible and I could have done everything he did but it's fine.

The next part of the day was clearly the highlight of the trip so far for me. We took the tube up to Abbey Road and took our "album cover picture" crossing it. Fun fact I went barefoot for authenticity to be more like Paul.

I also left my mark on the wall outside of Abbey Road Studios.

The rest of tonight we came back and relaxed since we gve an early train tomorrow to Paris.

London has been amazing. We got see the history from thousands of years ago up until recent times. We met some interesting people and got to experience the London lifestyle. People are really nice here I've noticed..always willing to help, drivers respect pedestrians, and they don't avert their eyes from you as you walk by. Also there are just about no public trash cans or bathrooms and yet the roads and sidewalks are so clean. I don't get how it's so different at home.

Anyway great time and moving on tomorrow so I will update tomorrow night hopefully.
