Interlaken Day 2

We got up early today and headed got ready for our canyoning trip.

It took some time to get started but once we got to the canyon we were greeted by a 150 ft vertical rock wall we had to repel down. It was pretty scary but once you got going it wasn't too bad. After everyone got in the canyon we started down the river by a combination of jumping down waterfalls, sliding down rock faces, and zip lining. It took a total of about 2 and a half hours in the canyon to get back to the gear and it was awesome, probably the coolest thing I've ever done and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. After we got to the bottom of the canyon we sat in a field and at Swiss cheese made in the farm whose land we were on and had some sandwiches and drinks.

We were beat when we got back so we all showered off and went downstairs in our hostel to watch the USA game on the big screen.

After the great US win (which I missed because I was looking at pictures) we went at got dinner at a Chinese place. We have an early morning and long day tomorrow so we headed back and relaxed afterwards.
