Leaving London/ Paris Day 1

Today was another early wake up call since we had to take the tube to King's Cross/St. Pancras to get on our train. We made a quick detour when we got to King's Cross and visited platform 9 and 3/4.



After that we boarded our train to Paris. We were all pretty tired and had no problem sleeping our way there..



After we got off the train we had a few issues getting our metro tickets and people were non stop trying to scam us but we were all good. It took some time to get to the hostel but we couldn't check in until 3 anyway so we got some food at a market and ate at a park across the street.



We finally got into our hostel and got our things settled before going out. Our hostel was pretty nice, especially compared to the London hostel.



We got our stuff together and took the metro down to the eiffel tower and went to the top deck. Steve and Ryan were very nervous but managed to make it. It was well worth the views.






After coming back down we walked a few blocks and got some dinner to eat on the lawn in the shadows of the eiffel tower at sunset. We stayed basically all night..
